Christmas is coming up next month!! As a mom-to-be, I have my eye on all of these comfy things. Everything on my list is to make me as comfortable as possible at home finishing out pregnancy, at the hospital, and then I get home.
I’ve rounded up some great gift ideas that I think would be perfect for the new or expecting mama in your life.
Perfect for breastfeeding, and oh so comfy!
Maternity Nursing Nightgown and Robe Set. Perfect for the unpredictable temperature changes she’ll have at the hospital.
Cozy throw blankie, say no more!
A new pair of slippers to easily slip on and off for both the hospital and when she gets home for the million times she’s going to get out of bed in the middle of the night.
A matching 2 piece set to help her feel more put together even when she will definitely not have it together. This one screams comfy & cute for those first few months lounging around the house. Love the zipper for breastfeeding.
Non-slip socks are a must at the hospital and when I get home, walking and bouncing around the newborn.
2 must-haves for sleepless nights, are under-eye patches & an ice roller. Trying to keep the dark circles and puffiness at a minimum.
It’s just so fun, and who didn’t love the movie Mean Girls?!
The perfect minimal initial necklace! I love the customizable options to include all the loved ones.
Love this gender-neutral diaper bag, that my husband won’t mind carrying. I love the included Stroller clips!
I plan on reading a lot during nighttime feedings! I love reading a kindle that keeps the room dark, and an unlimited membership so I can to my heart's desire.
My 8-week workout program is safe for all trimesters and would be perfect a new mom since the workouts are all around 30 minutes.

We have roughly 8 million things to think about to prepare for the baby but don't forget about yourself, mama. The first trimester can be rough, these 7 things I got on Amazon drastically improved my day-to-day life during the first trimester.
The things I found most helpful during those first few months were pretty simple. First, I did not want to miss even a single day of prenatal vitamins. This daily pill container was perfect to both keep me on track and save time. I fill it up on Sunday, and I'm set for the week. Not only did it save me time by now pulling out a bunch of bottles every day. But when I find myself asking “Did I take my pills yet today” I simply reach for my pill container and have my answer. That’s a double win in my book.
Almost immediately after I found out I was pregnant my *girls* began to grow! If you are like me and you sleep in just an oversized tee shirt, you will probably find yourself needing a little more support now. I found these super soft bras to be PERFECTLY lightweight, breathable, and stretchy. I’m also hoping these will be perfect when breastfeeding because they are so easy to slip off and on. Even though I bought them to sleep in, they have become an everyday staple.
I was on a mission to stay as active as possible during the 1st trimester. Which meant I needed bigger sports bras with more supportive bras as well. I ordered a few sets to test out, this one was won by a landslide! As soon as put these on, I sent the rest back. They say low impact, but I have been doing High-Intensity workouts in them and feel fully supported! The racerback cut combined with a higher neckline helps me feel confident rocking my pregnancy girlies!
I suggest sizing up in both sets, just to leave yourself a little room to grow. With both sets, I love the removable pads, no underwire, and the colors in multipacks! I few times I found myself reaching for one of my Lululemon bras that fit a little bigger before pregnancy, but changed into these after about 5 minutes because they are just so comfortable!
I decided to trade in my Apple watch for this $20 step counter and here’s why. I have been wearing an Apple watch for years, and I love it. I’ve always known that the calorie count is not perfectly accurate, but I subconsciously used it as a gauge anyway.
I did not want the pressure of knowing how many calories I was burning during my workouts. Instead, I wanted to focus simply on moving my body every day vs. how hard I was going.
Secondly, I wanted to make sure I was getting 8-10k steps daily to stay active. This step counter was a perfect transition without breaking the bank.
With the promise I made to myself that I would get 8-10k steps every day combined with living in Ohio, I knew the weather would make it difficult to keep that promise. I knew part of my pregnancy it would be miserable to be outside because of the weather.
I didn’t want the price tag of a full treadmill, nor did I have the space for one. I found this walking pad to be the perfect price and size to fit my needs. It fits under my desk, so I can multitask while keeping the promise to myself of staying active.
Between nausea and exhaustion, there were a lot of days I did not want to go to the gym, so I simply went on a walk instead.
Adding in these wrist weights, weighing in at just 1 pound each was absolutely perfect to throw on to add a little spice to my walk. I also found on the days I had more energy, I threw them on while folding laundry, running the vacuum, and doing everyday house chores.
My amazing twin mama cousin told me about preggy pops, and she’s now forever a goddess in my eyes. When I felt the nausea coming on, I would pop one of these and the nausea would melt away almost immediately with the pop. My only regret was not knowing about these sooner.
I was immediately worried about getting stretch marks. I saw so many expensive brands out there but opted to try this inexpensive one with tons of great reviews instead. I LOVE it! When I ran out of my first bottle, I repurchased with the biggest bottle, because I’m using it not only on my belly but my entire body! My legs have never been smoother!
It is super easy to forget about yourself during pregnancy, but doing little daily things will help you feel a little better each day as you combat the oh-so-fun first-trimester symptoms. Looking for the perfect at-home workout program? Check this one out!

I’m Ashley Gregory, the mama to be behind Simplified Mom. A lover of all things fitness and nutrition, building my best life, and helping you do the same!
Although I have over 12 years in the fitness and nutrition space, I am brand new to the mom life. I am patiently awaiting my first little one, a baby girl, in late March 2024.
Something about me, I’m hugely passionate about living an 80/20 lifestyle. I have always taken this 80/20 approach to fitness and nutrition.
By this I mean, that 80% of the time I workout, eat nutritious home-cooked meals, drink all the water, take vitamins, and eat my veggies. 20% of the time I drink a beer with my friends, enjoy the dessert, and eat donuts on Sunday mornings with my family.
I have been coaching this 80/20 lifestyle method for almost 10 years, helping women (and a few men) find a healthy balance in their lives with exercise and nutrition. If you are looking for an at-home workout program, check out this one!
As I enter this new chapter of life, I want to expand that approach into mom life as well. I want to help you do the same!
With the news of the baby girl, I have spent so much time researching pregnancy nutrition and fitness, the safest baby products, the most reliable strollers, the best car seats, the most versatile products, travel-friendly accessories, etc. If this sounds familiar, you know you’ve found the right place!
My goal with Simplified Mom is to do all the research myself and learn firsthand, then provide you with all my tips, hacks, and cheat codes in one place. Saving you precious time with your loved ones.
